Ltd., (GDC) to drive the research and development activities  of  the GDC group of companies involved in various activities across the  integrated food supply chain.  GDC is a result of the passion and conviction of a group of experts about the latent potential of Indian agribusiness and the need for visionary management inputs to actuate the potential by integrating all operations in the food supply chain through its innovative approach and create commercially viable value addition avenues across the chain.  The approach  aims at tapping the true potential of the agriculture, horticulture, medicinal crops, bio-fuels and their value addition business and turn it into a win- win situation for the key stakeholders in the food supply chain.  The ultimate aim is to see sparkling eyes and smiling faces among the farmers, traders, food processors, food handlers and consumers – “we mean the society at large”.  Research and development and its commercial  adoption is crucial for healthy development of the agri-food sector.  GIPPD will play a major role in making this dream come true.

THE COMPANY

The company is set up with the broad objective of conducting facilitating  research and development work with a view to developing nutritionally sound food and allied products by cost effective, eco-frinedly processes.  GIPPD with its well equipped laboratory and scientific personnel will render active research & development, quality assurance and quality control support.  The specific objectives are:
