GIIFTOP
GIIFTOP
is a project conceived and promoted by GDC (Greendeal Consultancy Pvt Ltd). GIIFTOP was envisioned and launched during the
previous Global Investors Meet in Karnataka during the year 2000. GIIFTOP is
the pivotal result of commitment and conviction by a group of Agri and Food expert
professionals to fully explore the latent potentials of Indian agribusiness by
integrating various activities of food supply chain through its indigenous
innovative approach.

vision has been principally to promote a strong and viable food supply chain across
the globe, through integrated and multi disciplinary linkage for leading a universal
holistic life style.
Mission
GIIFTOPs
mission reaffirms to promote several Global Corporates for various key
functions of food supply chain and be progressive partner with Govt agencies and National and international R&D institutions
and private enterprises on a PPP/consortium/JV mode for successful interminable
implementation of the project.
Accomplishments:
Keeping
in view of the vision and accelerated mission, GDC sparing no time, 10 years in
its commitment & hard work, was able to establish the following Corporates
to steer forth various functions of food supply chain towards successful
integration.
Bengaluru Food Technologies and
service Parks Pvt Ltd (BFPL)
BFPL was established during 2000 for
promotion of Infrastructure Hubs such as Food Parks, Food trading parks and
Cold chain corridors. BFPL enjoys the credit of promoting one Food park at Hiriyur
(Supported by Ministry of Food Processing, GOI) on PPP mode along with Food
Karnataka Ltd of GOK and Harsha Seeds & Agro Products Pvt
Ltd, which is currently operational.
AkshayFood Park Ltd (AFPL) - HIRIYUR
AFPL
is formed as a
joint venture company between our group company BFPL and Food Karnataka Ltd
(Government of Karnataka) at Hiriyur, Chitradurga District, Karnataka.
AFPL a modern, state-of- the art Food Infrastructure Hub
of international standards in terms of Food safety, Hygiene and Quality.
AFPL has common infrastructure facilities, such as good roads, uninterrupted
power, Potable water supply, Effluent treatment, Communication systems and a
Commercial complex, as also specialized facilities such as quality control
laboratory, cold store, warehouse, business incubator, seven lines of commodity
grading and packing facilities, etc. AFPL will be the catalyst in integrating
the various links of the food supply chain viz., Production related backward
linkage, Food Processing industries, Cold
storage and Warehousing, Logistics
and Customer related forward linkage.
AFPL aims at tapping the true potential of agriculture, horticulture,
medicinal crops, bio-fuels and their value addition in order to turn these into
a win- win situation for all the key stakeholders in the food supply chain and
especially, the farmer and the end customer.
Karishma Food and Agri developers Pvt Ltd (KFAD)
KFAD was established for promotion
of Infrastructure Hubs relevant to Food and Agriculture such as Agri parks,
Value-added centres and Cold Chain Corridors. KFAD
has already progressed in promoting second food
Jewargi Agro Food Park Ltd (JAFPL)
This joint venture company was
established in 2005, with the Government of Karnataka at Jewargi, Gulbarga
District, Karnataka.
JAFPL will be a Modern, Hassle-free Production environment for Food
processing operations with international standards of Food Safety, Hygiene and
Quality. JAFPL will have common infrastructure facilities of good roads, power,
potable water supply, effluent treatment, warehouse, grading plants, communication
facilities and a commercial complex
Green’s India Commodity Sources Pvt Ltd (GICS):
This company was established to
promote Backward linkage of the food supply
chain. GICS has already surveyed and net-worked
with farming groups of food parks at Jewargi and Hiriyur and will be operational
from kharif 2010 onwards. GICS’s main approach will
be to promote contract production and procurement of agri commodities for the
above food parks.
GreenIndia Food Trading Pvt
Ltd Company (GIFTRAC):
This company was established in 2004
with the sole objective of promoting a world-class enterprise preferably
through contract marketing of a whole range of food products, involving
commodities and value-added processed food products including medicinal and
aromatic herbs. GIFTRAC will be the Forward looking linkage
company in the integrated food supply chain. GIFTRAC is ready with
various marketing models across the globe for the benefit of stake holders of
the intended food supply chain. One such model will be promoted immediately for

Is the R & D Company that has
been promoted with the sole objective of providing Total Quality Management
Solutions across food supply chain. GIPPD is already
with its business model to launch at Hiriyur and
Karishma Food Engineering Solutions Pvt Ltd (KFESL)
This company established with an
objective of providing Food Engineering solutions for total value addition of
Agri commodities in order to meet the customer needs and preferences. KFESL has already tied up with AFPL in
establishment of primary food processing hub at Hiriyur and will be ready for
operations soon.
GIIFTOP HRD Pvt
Ltd.
Is a company providing Total Solutions
in respect of Human Resource and Development across intended Food Supply Chain. It has already initiated and completed several
training programmes during the past year for various personnel across supply
chain in the state. The company plans to establish HRD Institutes both at
Hiriyur and Jewargi during the current year.
Kolar Agri Farms & Foods Pvt Ltd (KAFFL)
KAFFL is one of the key enterprises
conceptualized by GIIFTOP, to establish a Value-Added centre for Agri
and Horticulture commodities. KAFFL
will be the catalyst in integrating the various links of the food supply chain,
specially in Kolar District.
